Claude Lousaint

As a Historian, Claude Louissaint was the Key Note Speaker at Miami Dade College for the Bicentennial Anniversary of Haiti’s Independence. He has served on the board of many organizations and lectures regularly on Politics, Economics, and Haitian History. He is a committee member of the Caribbean Emancipation Day/Juneteenth Conversation in association with the Greater Caribbean American Cultural Coalition for over 7 years.
Claude is the recipient of many awards and recognitions to include but not limited to: Keeper of the Dream Award– Presented by Markham Elementary School; Empowerment Award for Outstanding Service to the Community presented by Minority Development and Empowerment; American Professional Taxi Cab Drivers Association Service Award and the prestigious Peoples Award–presented by the Broward County Library New American Series.
