Cleve P. Osborne
He started his entertainment career as a Disc Jockey during his college days and was one of the first Caribbean DJ’s to play the Philadelphia circuit.
A talented musician, Mr. Osborne also plays the steel drums. Realizing that his passion was in the broadcast and entertainment industry, he studied radio, television and film. A former educator, Mr. Osborne taught television production, broadcasting, journalism, video, and film production for twenty-four years with the Miami-Dade County Public School system.
In addition to co-hosting the “Caribbean Riddims,” Mr. Osborne is committed to working with the community, supporting Caribbean Emancipation Day activities, and encouraging students to pursue their dreams by continuing their education. He supports programs and scholarships that provide opportunities for our youth. Cleve has often said that hosting radio programs is a labor of love as he promotes his culture. He can be heard weekly on Saturday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm on WZAB 880 AM.
